• I am 18 years of age or older (if you are between 16-18 years of age and would like to volunteer please email info@spcadbn.org.za No under 16s allowed)
• I am a voluntary worker of the Durban SPCA
• I am expected to adhere to the same disciplinary code as full-time employees of the Durban SPCA;
• I have read the code of conduct and agree to adhere to the terms and conditions;
• I may be asked to accompany an SPCA staff member in a vehicle on official SPCA duties/drive an SPCA vehicle;
• I am responsible for my own medical expenses in the case of an injury sustained whilst fulfilling my voluntary duties at the SPCA.

I further indemnify the Durban SPCA, its directors, office bearers, staff and benefactors against all claims of whatsoever nature by whomsoever which might arise in connection with any incident, accident, injury or any other cause whilst in the voluntary employ of the Durban SPCA. I am prepared to obtain a SAPs clearance certificate at SPCA's cost if I am requested to handle money.
