For safety reasons, we aren’t able to allow volunteers to work with the animals on Mandela Day. But that didn’t stop our friends and supporters from dropping in to make a difference in other ways.

It was our biggest and best Mandela Day yet, with the challenge going out to local companies to see who could raise the most food donations for our SPCA.

With a steady stream of visitors, music, plenty to eat and drink at our Coffee Cats Café, kennel and cattery tours and the chance to participate in our “Toss the Ball” game, it was an amazing day of fun and festivity, all for a good cause.

Heatfelt thanks to all who came to visit, and who collectively ensured our food store was filled to the brim. Your support was so heartwarming.
