On our news page, you’ll read about our victories in the courts as we fight for justice for animals who’ve suffered horribly at the hands of humans. Last year saw a disturbing increase in the number of cruelty cases reported to our SPCA, and I am beyond proud of our Inspectorate Team. Despite the frustrations, postponements and cases struck off the roll, they stick to their guns, spending countless hours preparing dockets and testifying in court.

But they are not the only warriors in this battle. Most of these cases only come to light as a result of tipoffs from concerned members of the public. It’s encouraging to know that, even in underprivileged areas, there are people who can’t just stand by while animals suffer.

Then there are others, like yourself, who are prepared to part with their hard earned money to fund the ongoing fight against cruelty. Together, we form a formidable partnership – and I want to thank you sincerely for standing with us.
