Please read these rules carefully before you begin

1. The competition is open to everyone, except employees of the Durban & Coast SPCA and their families.
2. You may enter as many times as you wish, but every entry must be accompanied by a minimum donation of R60 to the Durban & Coast SPCA.
3. Entry fees can only be paid online by Master/Visa card or secure Instant EFT.
4. The competition aims to showcase the role pets play in our lives – they may be pictured on their own, or interacting with other animals and humans.
5. The competition is for domestic animals only. Pictures of wildlife and exotic pets (snakes, lizards, etc) are not eligible.
6. You may only submit original photographs owned by you.
7. Images should be of print quality, i.e. 2MB - 10MB and 300 dpi. Blurred or over-exposed images will not be eligible to win.
8. Images must be landscape format (not portrait) and should not have borders or distorting filters applied. Collages will not be eligible to win.
9. The best 13 photographs will be selected by a panel of judges. Their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. All photographs submitted become the property of The Durban & Coast SPCA and may be used for promotional purposes.
11. The competition closes at 12 midnight on Tuesday 24 September 2024.
12. Winners will be announced on Friday 11 October 2024 on this website and contacted by email or phone.
13. All 13 winners will receive a free copy of the calendar.
14. We reserve the right to cancel the competition immediately and without notice.
