Successful conviction
On 24th April in the Chatsworth Magistrates Court, we obtained a successful conviction against the owner of two neglected, starving dogs.
All in a day’s work

Meet Tommy
Introducing our newest adorable Yard Cat, Tommy. He turned up out of the blue one day and took up residence in the flower beds, but soon worked out that the Food Room was the place to be!
‘Mew’ look for Coffee Cats
Our coffee shop re-opened on 3 March 2025 under the new management of Julie Webster. Durban’s favourite open-air eatery offers divine lattes, cappuccinos, great value breakfasts, burgers and light meals – plus delicious home baked treats.

Whilst we all love a happy ending, Pixie’s story highlights the importance of having pets microchipped. It’s quick, painless and affordable. And it can be done right here at our SPCA.
Dog Box cleans up
Our amazing Dog Box volunteers not only work hard to raise funds for animals at the SPCA, they’re also willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in caring for the environment.
