Mia

Thanks for being on our team

When we shared the story of poor little Mia with you, you didn’t hesitate to rush to the rescue with generous donations to cover the cost of her veterinary treatment and care. Thank you!

This is the little dog whose pelvis was broken in four places after being hit by a car. Her owner left her in that state for 3 weeks because she couldn’t ‘find the time’ to get the dog to a vet.

But you felt her pain … and you stepped in to support our team as they got permission to confiscate Mia and bring her to our SPCA for immediate help.

Sincere thanks to everyone who cared enough to help this badly injured dog. Your donations meant more than just money in the bank … they made you part of our SPCA Team. Someone who’s prepared to stand alongside our inspectors and speak up for animals that are hurt, mistreated and neglected.

Thanks to you and others like you, Mia is now well on the road to recovery and will be available for adoption soon. Let us know if you’re interested in offering this sweet girl a forever home.
