Is your pet ‘pawsome’ enough to star in our 2027 SPCA calendar?
The search is on for the cutest cats, dogs, hamsters, horses and other pets (no wild animals or exotic pets, please) to star in our 2027 SPCA Calendar.
Think your pet has what it takes to be a pin-up?
Get them to ‘Paws for the Camera‘ and they could be our cover girl or boy … or feature on one of the 12 monthly pages.
We’re looking for truly pawsome photographs that depict the unique personality, beauty and funny antics of your pets. If your photo is selected by our panel of judges, you’ll receive a free copy of the calendar, a prize for your fur baby, and public acknowledgement of your talent.
Please submit only good quality, landscape format images 2MB-5MB in size. Subtle use of filters allowed, but no weird effects, borders or collages, please.
Entries cost R80 each – and you can enter as many times as you like before the competition closes on 30 September 2026. All entries will be displayed on our website and the winners will be notified. Proceeds from the competition and the sale of the calendar go towards the cost of caring for neglected, ill treated and unwanted animals at our SPCA.
