Gio doesn’t walk into a room – he arrives. Full sprint, full heart, full floof. This is what freedom looks like when you’re a 27.5kg cloud with legs.

Caught mid-stride on a crisp Durban winter morning, one paw lifted, tongue out, that famous Samoyed mane flying behind him like a cape. No filter, no staging, just pure joy in motion.

What makes Gio awesome isn’t just that he looks like a walking cloud – it’s that he treats every single day like it’s the best one he’s ever had. He greets strangers like long-lost friends, waits patiently while I photograph flat whites, and has never once met a beach, a mountain, or a café patio he didn’t approve of.

Gio is proof that the best adventures start the moment you let your dog lead the way. 🐾

This was Gio’s birthday portrait a pet-safe cake with tiny castle turrets, a hand-tied iridescent bow, and one very dignified Samoyed pretending he wasn’t calculating the exact moment to steal a bite.

Spoiler: he waited. He always waits. That’s the kind of gentleman he is.

Gio is awesome because he brings ceremony to ordinary days. A walk isn’t just a walk it’s an event. A birthday isn’t just a birthday it’s a full production.

He’s turned our little family into people who genuinely believe every dog deserves a cake, a bow, and someone who thinks they hung the moon. Because honestly? He kind of did. 🌙🤍

Living up to his name in full royal style! Prince charming rules our household with endless affection, big personality, and unconditional love. He may wear a crown on the outside, but Prince’s real magic is the royalty-sized love and joy he brings to our hearts every single day.

Dressed to impress and full of charm! Prince may be wearing a fancy hat and bow tie, but his real magic is the pure love, warmth, and joy he brings into our lives every single day.

A total natural in front of the camera! Prince absolutely loves dressing up and completely steps into character the moment the camera comes out. So proud to support the SPCA and help other animals find their own loving forever homes.

This is Cleo, our beautiful, fluffy girl, always full of character, with the sweetest expressions and a personality that shines through.

Rolo, being the friendly and outgoing dog he is, saw his human siblings petting the donkey and thought, he too would also have a turn at petting the donkey. (Tongue out for extra concentration!)

Rolo loves the rugby and is a massive Springbok supporter! Whenever the rugby is on, he would be wearing his springbok shirt and sitting on his favorite wingback armchair watching the game!

Kodi the 8-week old Jack Russell has been reminding mom and dad what it’s like to have a baby in the house again – interrupted sleep, constantly watching him, lots of cleaning. Thanks to him, mom’s coffee consumption has tripled!

This is Kobe the Great Dane. Our sweet, clever boy who doesn’t know that dogs should sit on the floor.

Meet Max – our very special only child! Max is six years old and has brought us more love, laughter and joy than we could ever have imagined. He truly believes he is human — as you can see from this photo of him sitting proudly at the Christmas table! He is incredibly loving, always happy to see us, and very protective of his family. Max loves his walks and is always on the lookout for something to chase – whether it’s monkeys, birds or even the occasional fly! He may be our only child, but he certainly keeps us entertained, loved and on our toes. We honestly couldn’t imagine our family without him.

Meet Beanie, a rescue with a heart of gold. She may rule the house, but this gentle, lazy girl is happiest curled up with her humans. Always close by, Beanie loves keeping them company, sharing a purr, and giving plenty of love and attention.

This is Squid. Squid is 12 years old and the neighborhood bouncer! He has a heart of gold and has endeared himself to everyone in La Lucia. He loves catching moles and proudly announces his victory!

Kallie is 12 years old and a Therapy Cat! He senses human distress and immediately makes humans feel at ease. He loves humans even little ones. His pet peeve is knitting which he attacks! He has his own Instagram page which he shares with Squid and it is called kallie_and_squid

Xena is our lovable cutie pie with the perfect balance between energy & relaxation. She is happy with both & enjoys life to the fullest. Always keeping a close eye on all her buddies & us humans. What a perfect companion. Love her always!

Meet Yster, our a four-legged security officer in a permanently untidy hairdo and formal tie. Chief of Security with that serious face but also a goofy soul. Always by my side, my loyal companion but also head of perimeter security. All rolled up in the most beautiful doggy package!

Meet Doodles, our gentle 15 year old boy who is taking life a little slower these days. He is happiest curled up in his basket spending most of his day resting peacefully.

 Fudge is an independent boy who thinks he is the boss! He spends his days between his house and the neighbours house getting whatever he wants. With his confident personality and irresistible charm, he has everyone wrapped around his paw!

This is Mr TubTubs, he is very playful, cuddly and has the most amazing personality, he comes to work and cuddles me and sleeps next to me at night. He was rescued from a bush in PMB and we adopted him. He is very talkative and reaches out for a hug when he sees me, this is one of those cute hug moments x

 Magic is my beautiful aloof princess kitty that I rescued. She doesn’t pose for the camera so this was a very rare moment that captures her lovely eyes. She is a very sassy cat and selective about when and how she likes to be loved. I’m sure she is a reincarnation as she rules the house like Cleopatra. I thought this would be a great October entry for Halloween, as she is a magical, beautiful, lucky black cat that has stolen my heart x

This is Mr Tubs Tubs, chilling out in the day after a night out at the kitty cats night club. He loves soft textured blankets and snuggly stuff, I think it reminds him of his mommy before he was abandoned as a kitten. He can be found living his best life on the bed or acting as my office manager sleeping on duty during the day x

This is Mr. TubTub playing with Bixby on top of the garden table, they are great friends and wrestle and chase each other in the garden. Mr TubTubs loves him so much that he cleans Bixby’s face and cuddles him – I think Bixby thinks he is also a cat lol

He loves getting himself dirty by playing outside and having the most pawsome day ever. He is the baby of the family and so we take him everywhere with us, our sun, moon, stars and everything in-between.

This is Mr Giggles Naidoo. He is a fashionista and always ready for a holiday!

Mutton is my super needy, spolit, thinks he’s a Rottweiler, has no concept of personal space Sausage baby and I cant imagine my day or life without him.

My Ivy girl is sassy, full of energy, runs into our home like a tornado but shes my forever sweet girl.

Belly up, paws in the air and snoring like I pay rent … the dogs bed is now my bed! Charming brings laughter, love and a little bit of chaos wherever he goes. He’s deeply loved.

Keeping a close eye on the invoices … but I think I’ve fallen asleep on the job! Charming is proof that rescue cats have a very special way of making themselves completely at home.

Cleo is our beautiful, fluffy girl! Playful, curious and full of character. She has a personality all of her own!
