Although not a fur parent myself, my favourite fur baby, my niece Bailey, was adopted from this very SPCA and I couldn’t imagine a world without her in it.

The thought of her, as well as so many more animals, lost, cold and forgotten, spending their nights waiting for hope and change, truly does break my heart. If these beautiful animals can go through that and still spread so much joy and love – we can spend a night in a kennel in the hope of change.

One night, and the money raised in doing so, can change the lives of so many.  For their health, their shelter, their food and for the hope of finding their forever homes. 

Why am I doing this? Yes, it is a challenge and yes, it will be fun to join my family and friends that are participating in this experience too – but at the heart of this is a dog that is a man’s best friend. That alone is enough reason for me to do this – for Bailey.
