My husband and I have always had a heart for rescue. We have had many rescue animals in our home, and a couple of years ago we signed up to be fosters for a dachshund rescue. We ended up with two beloved older foster fails, Mr Darcy and Elizabeth who are our furchildren.

I have slept in a dog kennel to raise funds for a dog rescue, volunteered walking rescue dogs, done home checks on behalf of rescues, plus much more!

I’m always looking for ways to assist the SPCA and the amazing work that they do. I’m honored to run the Absa Durban 10km to help raise funds for the Durban & Coast SPCA and combine two of my passions – dogs and running!
