If you live on the North Coast, you may be aware that we had to vacate the premises upon which our Dolphin Coast (Ballito) satellite branch was situated.

We continue to provide the community with all the same SPCA services. We are using the Ballito Fire Station (10 Leonora Drive, Ballito) as a temporary pound for strays. These animals – along with unwanted and rescued animals - are collected by Field Officer Nathi Ngisu, and brought to our Springfield Park SPCA headquarters to be cared for and rehomed.

Inspector Sabelo Ngcobo continues to carry out inspections and investigations into cases of cruelty on the North Coast. Please call 087 550 0512 to report cruelty or emergencies.

Our Dolphin Coast satellite SPCA charity shop, The Dog Box, is still going strong. Run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers, the shop generates much needed funds that support our animal welfare work on the North Coast. Please visit The Dog Box at 11 Jack Powell Road in Ballito to browse for amazing bargains, or to drop off your unwanted items.
