Hi, I’m Natalie, proud mom to many cats and dogs. I’ll be swopping my comfy bed for an SPCA kennel to help raise funds for the incredible work they do. Every rand you donate will help care for neglected, abandoned and vulnerable animals while they wait for their forever homes.

Animals have always had a special place in my heart. I still remember the Saturday in 2007, I adopted my first cat from the SPCA. There was another cat there who wouldn’t stop crying, and I cried all the way home because I’d only adopted one. I went back on the Monday determined to adopt that cat too but thankfully someone had already given her a loving home. I went on to foster, rehome and raise more than 50 kittens and cats, an incredibly rewarding experience.

As many of my own furry family are now enjoying their senior years, I’ve developed a real soft spot for older animals. They have so much love to give, so if you are thinking of adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting through the SPCA.
