MyDifference

The animals are losing out on over R20 000 every month

For years, thousands of kind-hearted Woolworths shoppers have supported our SPCA through MySchool. Every time you shopped and swiped your MySchool card, a portion of your spending helped animals in distress.

It became reliable income that we could count on to help pay for food, veterinary treatment, medication and all the other costs involved in caring for animals who have nowhere else to go.

But things have changed.

Our former MySchool supporter base was 3,976 people. Today, just 305 supporters are linked to our SPCA through the new Woolworths MyDifference loyalty programme. The difference is devastating. And the shortfall massive.

Please don’t let the animals lose this vital source of support.

Download or open the Woolworths App to activate your MyDifference virtual card. Under the loyalty tab select the Durban & Coast SPCA as your beneficiary. It only takes a few minutes – but it will make an enormous difference to an animal waiting for help.

And there’s good news. You can still enjoy your Woolworths benefits and discounts through the app. In fact, without your digital card, you could be missing out on those savings and paying full price in store.

We know that some people have had problems with the app loading or have been logged out. We understand how frustrating that can be.

Here are two simple ways to make accessing your card much easier:
1. Add your digital MyDifference card to your phone’s digital wallet. It loads quickly and will always be right there when you need it.
2. Take a screenshot of your digital card and mark it as a favourite. Then it’s quick and easy to find when you’re shopping.

Please make the switch today.

Download and open the Woolworths app, select Durban & Coast SPCA as your chosen beneficiary, and help us rebuild the supporter base that our animals depend on.

If you need any help making the switch, please call our Marketing Office on 031 579 6534 for assistance, or pop in and see us at the SPCA. We’ll be happy to help!
