I’ve always believed that the world works best when those with extra capacity step in where others are struggling. We don’t all have the same time, finances, support systems or ability to cope with everything life throws at us.

Unfortunately, when our human capacity falls short, animals can end up paying the price through no fault of their own.

This is why I’m once again taking part in the SPCA Kennel Sleepover. The SPCA helps shift that balance by stepping in to advocate for, care for and protect animals when they need it most.

I’m hoping to raise R8 000 this year. I may not be able to rescue every animal myself, but I do have the capacity to help. If you’re able to, I’d love for you to sponsor me so that together, we can make life a little better for animals who deserve so much more.
