Fiona
is in the doghouse
for a
good cause!
I’m Fiona Singh. I’ve loved animals my whole life, thanks to the influence of my dad and granddad. I’ve had chickens, dogs, tortoises, rabbits to mention a few. I followed my nature passion into tertiary education and became an education officer and now practice environmental principles at my business.
The one constant through life’s dance – my love of animals and monthly visits to the SPCA. Donations and shop purchases through to adoptions. My first adoptees, were my girls Daisy and Violet – Shar-pei cross.
“Adoptee” is now my favourite breed. Dora, a beautiful black fluff ball cross Eurasia next shared our home for many years. As the grey hairs settle in, I looked towards the constants and found a beautiful son named Shaggy- Irish wolfhound cross.
I’m excited to celebrate the legacy of SPCA’s 130years of caring for vulnerable animals. In salute I will sleep over with my best friend.
