Thrift shopping is an environmentally conscious choice with multiple benefits – inclucing reducing waste, supporting local communities, and raising money to help animals.
Our charity shops are treasure troves of unique fashion and furniture items, as well as books, toys, games, glass and silverware, crockery and household items.
Buying pre-loved items not only saves money – it also prevents perfectly usable items ending up in landfill, and the resulting impact on the environment.
SUNNINGDALE CHARITY SHOP
Our beautiful shop, conveniently located on the upper level above Waxys/Fabrica in the Sunningdale Centre (cnr Village Way and Umhlanga Rocks Drive) is a treasure trove of antiques, upmarket clothing, decor, toys, collectibles and more!

SPRINGFIELD PARK CHARITY SHOP
Our original Charity Shop is situated within the SPCA premises at 2 Willowfield Cresecent.
Along with second hand items in good condition, you’ll also find a large selection of brand new pet products – from dog food and bowls to leashes, collars, beds, toys, shampoo and treats.
Open Monday to Friday 8am-3.30pm
Saturday 8am-12.30pm
We also hold regular Market Days from 8-11 am on the last Saturday of every month.Tel. 031 579 6527.
THE DOG BOX, BALLITO
You’ll find The Dog Box, manned by cheerful volunteers, at the Balvista Centre, 22 Sandra Road, Ballito.

Donate unwanted items to us
If you’re having a clearout, please donate any unwanted goods in good condition to our SPCA. We’ll turn your unwanted clothing, shoes, household linen, furniture, toys, books, games, jewellery, household items, pictures and bric-a-brac into money for pet food and other necessities.
Please drop items off at our SPCA in Springfield Park. Or call to arrange collections of large loads straight from your door!
Collection days:
Northern Suburbs: Mondays & Wednesdays
Central Durban/South: Tuesdays & Thursdays
North Coast/Ballito/Dolphin Coast: Fridays

All donated items are sorted and priced for re-sale. Over the course of a year, proceeds from these three shops add over R3 million towards our services to animals in distress. Even if you only have a few items to donate, every single item sold helps us reach this amazing target. Thank you!
From time to time, unique or high-value items are donated to our SPCA.

Please note there may be reserves on some items. All items are located in Durban and may be collected from our Springfield Park premises by the successful bidder. Any delivery/courier costs are for the buyer’s account.
