Gordon Road Girls School

GORDON ROAD GIRLS’ SCHOOL

Gordon Road Girls’ School recently concluded their successful collection drive. This followed our visit to the school last month, where we spoke to the students about the SPCA and animal welfare.

GLENASHLEY PREPARTORY SCHOOL

Glenashley Preparatory School ran a successful collection drive for the entire first term.

 

Crawford International

CRAWFORD INTERNATIONAL, LA LUCIA

Crawford International integrated the “Adopt a Month” campaign into a project for their Grade 0 students.

The students were given a chore chart to complete chores at home and earn pet food, which they then brought to school to donate to our SPCA.

 

Reddam House

REDDAM HOUSE, UMHLANGA

Reddam House recently held their annual pet food collection drive in support of our SPCA. We are truly grateful for their ongoing support.

Glenashely Preparatory School

GLENASHLEY PREPARATORY SCHOOL

Glenashley Preparatory School has shown remarkable dedication to our SPCA by spearheading a successful collection drive throughout the entire first term.

 

Sycamore Acadamy

SYCAMORE ACADEMY, GLENWOOD

Sycamore Academy made a significant contribution to our SPCA by collecting a generous amount of pet food.

We visited the school at the end of their collection drive for an official handover and delivered a presentation on animal welfare.

 

Danville Park Girls' High School

DANVILLE PARK GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL

Danville Park Girls’ High School organised a successful collection drive for our SPCA. Students, accompanied by their educator, visited us to hand over the donation.

During their visit, we provided them with a tour of the SPCA and they even assisted with making price tags for the Charity Shops.

 

Hamptons Primary School

HAMPTONS PRIMARY SCHOOL, DURBAN NORTH

A group of students and educators from Hamptons Primary School visited our SPCA to hand over pet food collected from their donation drive.
They enjoyed a tour of our facilities. It was heartwarming to see the students’ empathy towards the animals, and their understanding of the importance of animal welfare.
Clifton School

CLIFTON SCHOOL

Clifton School has once again included the SPCA in their outreach programme for 2024.

As part of their community service initiative, they will be visiting us throughout the year to help with various tasks. We received our first visit from a group of grade 5 students and their educator in May. They assisted with making price tags for items in our Charity Shops.

 

Durban Girls' College

DURBAN GIRLS’ COLLEGE

Durban Girls College has once again participated in our adopt a month campaign, a tradition they eagerly anticipate every year.

We were invited to address the students at their morning assembly, where we shared insights about the SPCA and the impact of their donations and support on animal welfare

 

 

Little Flamingos

LITTLE FLAMINGOS EDUCARE

We visited Little Flamingos Educare to talk to their little students, as many of them are afraid of animals. Our aim was to change their perceptions.

Two lucky students who brought in the largest amount of pet food came along with their educator to drop off the donation. They were taken on a tour of the SPCA and received goody bags for their efforts.

Atholton Primary School participated in our “Adopt-a-month” campaign, and collected an incredible amount of pet food for our SPCA.

 

Teens under the Hood, South Africa

TEENS UNDER THE HOOD, SOUTH AFRICA (TUTHSA)

TUTHSA is a non-profit organisation that specialises in youth development. For the month of love, they chose to pay tribute to animals and raise awareness about animal welfare.

They were given a tour of our SPCA and an educational talk. Their aim is to educate other youth and hope to also fundraise within their communities for the animals.
